Your Donation Is a Tax-Deductible Power Move
When you give to the Amare Bey Family Trust, you’re not just giving — you’re receiving.
Your contribution is 100% tax-deductible under federal and Illinois law. That means:
You lower your taxable income
You support a verified, lawful religious trust
You help build a sacred community center and claim your deduction when it’s time to file
We are officially recognized and compliant with:
Illinois Attorney General – Charitable Registration
Exemption No: IL208347
Registration No: 01088815
Internal Revenue Code § 508(c)(1)(A) — We are a faith-based religious trust, lawfully exempt from filing federal returns
IRS-recognized religious contributions — You can file your donation using Schedule A on Form 1040 under “Gifts to Charity”
What That Means For You
Donate now — deduct later.
You give to something real, and the IRS lets you report it.
Let’s say you give $5,000 to support our mission:
That $5,000 can be reported on your taxes
That amount gets subtracted from your taxable income
The result? You owe less, and your donation goes further than you think
This is legal, spiritual, and financial empowerment.

Provide hygiene kits, showers, laundry, and emergency relief
Uplift youth through a Moorish rites of passage and development program
Offer cultural education, spiritual mentorship, and safe space for healing
Donation Guidelines & Tax Deduction Information
The Amare Bey Family Trust is a private religious trust organized under 26 U.S.C. § 508(c)(1)(A) and registered with the Illinois Attorney General under CO# 01088815. Our purpose is spiritual service, charitable outreach, and community empowerment aligned with our Moorish American Moslem faith.
How to Treat Your Donation
All donations must be treated and recorded as a gift. No goods, services, or financial benefits are provided in exchange. These contributions are voluntary and support our religious mission. By law, such gifts are protected under the First Amendment, 26 U.S.C. § 170(c)(2), and Illinois religious exemption laws.
Tax Deduction Instructions
Donations may be tax-deductible depending on your individual tax situation. Here’s how:
1. Record the amount on Schedule A (Form 1040) under charitable contributions
2. You must itemize deductions to claim the benefit
3. You will receive a formal donation receipt from the Trust for your records
4. For donations over $250, a written acknowledgment letter is required and will be provided
5. If your tax preparer or accountant requires EIN documentation, you must submit a formal W-9 request to the Trust
Understanding the Tax Benefit
Tax deductions are not dollar-for-dollar refunds. Instead, they reduce your taxable income.
For example:
If you donate $1,000 and you’re in a 22% tax bracket, your actual tax savings may be around $220. The exact amount depends on your income and IRS filing status.
